Balustrade Solutions
An architectural balustrade solution designed to reduce cleaning, installation time, and material cost — through an effective mounting solution.
ADVANTAGES
Why Flo Glass?
Traditional balustrades obstruct views and collect grime. Flo Glass keeps your sightlines open, your surfaces clean, and your installation costs down.
Uninterrupted Views
Slim side profile and frameless glass panels keep your sightlines completely clear — from every angle, on every level.
Bracket Mounting
Connect to existing walls, posts, or beams — eliminating individual spigot posts and reducing both material cost and installation time.
Less Time Cleaning
The unique side profile captures and hides splash marks, so your balustrade looks clean with minimal effort.
AS1170.1 Certified
Fully engineered and tested to Australian Standards for balustrade applications. Comes with a signed Form 15 for your certifier.
MOUNTING OPTIONS AFFECT PRICE
Smarter Mounting.
Better Value.
The way your balustrade mounts directly impacts your cost per linear metre. By connecting to existing structural elements, you can eliminate the need for individual spigot posts – reducing both material cost and installation time.
Connect to Existing Structures
Mount to existing walls, posts, or beams using bracket-only hardware – no additional posts required.
Wider Spans. Fewer Posts.
Spans up to 3m between posts mean fewer components and a cleaner, more open look.
Faster to Install
Bracket mounting eliminates excavation and concrete work, making installation significantly faster.
AS1170.1 Certified
Fully engineered and tested to Australian Standards for both pool fencing and balustrade applications.

Frequently Asked Questions
Flo Glass has been independently tested to AS/NZS 1170.1 barrier loading and handrail deflection requirements and complies in the tested configuration.
Yes. The bracket-only mounting option attaches directly to existing timber posts, steel posts, or concrete structures — eliminating the need for additional spigot posts and reducing material cost significantly.
Balustrades on decks and balconies must be a minimum of 1000mm in height. For areas accessible to children, additional requirements may apply. Always check your local council and NCC requirements.
The maximum post spacing for Flo Glass is 3000mm (3 metres) centre-to-centre. Bracket mounting to existing structures can allow wider spans with fewer posts.
By connecting to existing structural elements (walls, posts, beams), bracket mounting eliminates the need for individual spigot posts at every panel. This means fewer components, less drilling, and faster installation — all of which reduce the total project cost.
